I absolutely love Spoken Word. It's amazing that any thing you could love,
is being done in the world somewhere, Oh , thank God for technology.
Wonderful are those who can use words to inform, interpret, teach,
and inspire the hearers. It's so deep at times it makes you take a good look at ones self and reflect on the words being recited from a place deep within the soul of the poet, the one who has paid a price just so you
will be more than entertained, enlightened is the word that comes to mind!
The spoken word can come at a time when we are searching for answers. I watch carefully when the faces of those who attend begin to see as the poet sees. Snapping their fingers because they agree with the poet about the life issues that have been presented and they too want to even preach that same spoken word ,because truth surely reigned down through a vessel known as mankind. and Man spoke to man in a forum that he or she was not afraid to look at themselves to see if they fit the bill. The spoken word may it never die but live on in the places set up to let it be free!.
